Who Am I?

- Kaety is a fibre enthusiast with a passion for colour and form.
She lives with her partner of 16 yrs and her 3 children and 4 grandchildren in Maleny on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.
She has previously worked in oils and mosaics however about 6 years ago chose to re-turn to fibre to express her creative side.
Initially taught by her Nanna when she was a child - Kaety was retaught and had her spark reignited by the by the mostly elderly ladies at the local Spinning group. She started with spinning her own yarn, while learning to knit more complicated objects such as socks and clothing. Following this, she discovered crochet and its applications and has since made clothing and home decor items for her family and friends, more recently deciding to turn her hook to making clothing for a wider market.
